Apple II - Complete in Box!
From the description:
"A very early Apple ][ computer with its accessory kit in its original box with a matching (5 digit) serial number. How many like this are left? This is not an Apple II Plus nor an Apple IIe. Vintage? This is as close as you will ever get to an Apple I.

It has been modified some over the last thirty-one years, but nothing irreversible. It looks like 48K of RAM. There has been an extension of the game socket out to the back panel for quick detachment/attachment of various paddles, sensors, controllers, etc., without having to move the monitor and open the top (see pic) together with a variable resistor which I think is a volume control for the internal speaker. To the front of the keys have been applied markers for Hebrew characters (but it does not have a Hebrew character chip; it used a software Hebrew word processor, not included. If you want the Hebrew word processor, let me know.). It looks like it has a lower case character adapter and the ubiquitous shift key adapter. It definitely has an Apple Language Card (now, I forget; does that bring the RAM up to 64K?) and a Sup-R-Mod RF modulator so you can use a TV set for a display.

Also in the box are:
~~ four Apple-branded tapes for seven programs (see pics for titles) and one empty tape for recording your own creations. (Maybe it has something on it?)
~~ The original Warranty Card -- blank!
~~ The original 1978 151-page Apple II Reference Manual in perfect condition. When they say “Reference”, they mean it! Theory, assembly code listings, opcodes, schematics, timing diagrams, games, PEEKs, POKEs, ... the works. This is the guts of the Apple II like nothing else since.
~~ Vol. 1 No. 2 of Apple Magazine, 44 pages, half stories and half catalog

And it is all in the original box with the original padding.

Condition: the computer is not mint but it is very clean and has no apparent damage. I do not know whether it runs but it certainly did years ago and it is solid-state. The box is kinda ratty after these thirty-one years but it did a good job of protecting the contents and t is still complete and intact. All in all, a very decent artifact. And, y’know, people praise the quality and feel of the original Macintosh keyboards, but I like this keyboard even more. SOLID.

Includes: the items mentioned above and shown in the pics. It will be shipped inside another box to protect the original -- in fact, it will be shipped inside an Apple IIcx box, in case you are interested in that, too.

What it does not include:
~ power cord -- if I don’t have the original, what’s the point?
~ original game paddles. It does include some hacked third-party paddles, which you should consider as free
~ tape player and cables to read the tapes. You can use a more-or-less ordinary audio tape recorder to play and record programs into the computer.
~ other cables. Only one I can think of is the display, which was an ordinary RCA male to RAC male.

This is certainly a collectible of the early days of Apple Computer. It is a historical item of the earlier days of Apple, a great display item, and a valuable research tool. You may find some memories here, too!"

NeXT Cube System & Extras
From the description:
"A nice NeXT Cube system with some extra parts. I bought this cube on eBay a couple years ago, and picked up some extra disks from Black Hole. I did some work on a Cube in the early 90s, about the same time Sir Tim Berners Lee was using one to invent the web browser. If you're reading this, you're proably already familiar with what a great system it is. It was roughly ten years ahead of it's time, and the NeXTStep OS evolved to become Mac OS X.
I haven't done much with this one while I've owned it, and had it around largely for nostalgia. I'm listing it with the hope that a more active hobbyist will find more use for it.

Here's what's included:
- NeXTcube model N1000A with a 68040 and a floppy drive. It's configured with 16Mb of RAM, and a 400Mb disk. The disk has NeXTStep 3.3 but it's not a fresh install. The cube has a few nicks and some scratches on top. Someone wrote "TRMS" on one of the board slot covers in back with a black marker. Overall I'd rate it an 8 out of 10. I've included lots of photos to help you assess the condition.
- NeXT Keyboard
- Two NeXT mice. Both work correctly, but one is missing the logo and has a chip on the disc piece that holds the ball in.
- NeXT Megapixel Display. It surely isn't as bright as when new, but is readable in a normally lit room. It's not bad at all in dim lighting. There is some slight burn-in, but nothing especially noticeable.
- Original 10 foot NeXT monitor cable
- Original NeXT power cable
- Two Seagate Barracuda 4.0 Gb disks. I picked these up from Black Hole, Inc as spares, but neither is currently installed in the cube.

The disk that is currently installed in the cube is running NeXTStep 3.3, but as I mentioned above, it isn't a clean install. It boots, but I noticed that the Console.app and User Manager.app in NeXTAdmin are missing some files and won't run. Those are the only issues I've seen, but my use of this machine has been fairly limited, and there may be others. It would be best to do a clean install, but I don't have media for NeXTStep. You may be able to find media for NeXTStep or OpenStep at Black Hole, Inc."
